| Question: |
|
These Polarware brew kettles seem kind of expensive. How will they make brewing easier? |

First of all, these things are heavy duty. You should never need to think about buying a brew kettle again if you have one of these. If you go with one of the models that has a spigot, another big advantage is that you won't have to pour your wort into the fermenter. You can just attach some high-temp tubing to the spigot and let gravity do the work. You can also add a thermometer above the spigot that will make it easy to monitor the temperature of the wort. Best of all, should you decide to make the jump to all-grain brewing, you need only to add a Polarware false bottom to turn these kettles into a mash tun. |
